Believe it or not, your mornings don’t have to be stressful or unpleasant when getting ready. Women often speed up their makeup routine just to get to their job in time, or in order not to skip breakfast. However, you don’t have to sacrifice anything, but you can still look fabulous, just with the right makeup routine. If you want to look your best, save some time, and enjoy your morning coffee, this article will help you out with that!

7 Steps On How To Get The Perfect And Simple Everyday Makeup

1. Face

Always clean your skin with your favorite cleanser and follow up with a hydrating cream. These two alone will guarantee you healthy, glowy and soft skin, right off the bat! While your cream sinks up into the skin, you can dress up or wash your teeth. After it sets, grab a tinted moisturizer instead of a foundation. This will even out your skin tone, will look like your natural skin, and won’t appear uneven even if you miss a spot or two on your face. Apply 5 dots onto your entire face, and blend the product in with your clean fingers if you are really rushing. If not, you can use either a sponge or a foundation brush.

2. Concealer

Apply a medium coverage concealer to the points which demand the most coverage, such as your under eyes, pimples, or any redness around the face. Make sure that your concealer isn’t dry since it will only enhance your texture or imperfections. Stick to something that is radiant or moisturizing. Blend in with your fingers or the brush by making tapping and not rubbing motions.

3. Powders

Only set your oiliest parts with your pressed or loose powder, such as the T-zone or the nose. You can skip this step if your skin is too dry. Once you are done, take your favorite bronzer and sweep the color with a wide angled brush around your cheeks and your forehead. You should only stick with a bronzer since it will add some dimension and contrast to your face, and don’t reach for blushes or highlighters since they can be demanding to put on, blend in, or even to build up.

4. Eyes

Playing it nude, neutral and natural is the way to go! Nude tones are the best option for any eye color or even eye shape. You can use any sand colored shadows all over the lid, and only add some shimmer to the inner corners of your eyes. Also, you can apply a bit of shimmer underneath your brow bone. This process shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes, and you should work with 2-3 light brown shadows, as well as 2-3 different brushes.

5. Eyelashes

Reaching for your favorite mascara might not be a good idea at this point since you are in a rush and you are running low on time. This might end badly, and you might poke yourself in the eye, or even smudge your makeup. That is why you should stick to permanent lash extensions. These are a semi-permanent solution which will last you 3-4 weeks, and they won’t move around or smudge early in the morning. All you have to do is comb them through with a lash wand, or a spoolie. Natural eyelash extensions can look voluminous on their own, and can even look natural and like your own lashes when done at the right salon.

If you are aiming to achieve a natural look make sure to choose extensions according to your eye shape. For instance, if you have almond-shaped eyes, avoid lengthy extensions around the corners of your eyes as they add unnecessary heaviness. If you have hooded eyes then choosing volume lashes that are shorter in the inner corner and curl along the edges will help you to get the illusion of bigger eyes. Also, ideal and quality lashes for upturned eyes would be lashes that have a natural upward lift at the outer edges with the most volume on the outer ends to accentuate eye shape.

6. Eyebrows

Eyebrows can take up so much of our time in the morning, and they can often end up looking uneven, especially if you’ve had your coffee and you are feeling shaky. That is why you should do the most minimal and basic step when it comes to your brows. Simply brush them upwards and fill in with some colored brow gel. This gel will provide a visible color payoff, and will also hold your brows in place for hours to come. You will be left with long-lasting yet natural and bushy eyebrows throughout the day.

7. Lips and Cheeks

Lastly, wearing a bit of a lip color will tie up the entire look. If you want to have a slight flush you should reach for a cheek and lip tint since this one can be used on your face and on your lips as well. All you have to do is apply few dots over your cheeks and one in the middle of your lips to give yourself some color and definition. Also, you can carry this product with you and reach for it all throughout the day to freshen up your makeup. If you are feeling really extra and you are in the mood for more makeup, you could also carry your favorite lip liner pencil and define your cupid’s bow at one point of the day.
